Iliza Shlesinger
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on 22nd February 1983. She is an American comedian and actress. She was the winner of 2008 on the NBC show Last Comic Standing. She went on to host Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.
Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talkshow. There are six Netflix comedy specials. The sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premiered on Netflix in April of 2020.
Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born into a Jewish family from New York City. Her family brought her to Dallas, Texas by her parents, who moved there when she was a newborn. She was a student at Addison's private Greenhill School, Texas where she studied Spanish as well as being a part of the school's improvisation team.
Shlesinger appeared on ComedySportz Dallas, and studied at the University of Kansas for her freshman year. She also was a part of Semester at Sea. Then she moved to Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts. The college where she majored was film. While at Emerson College she developed editing and writing abilities as well as joined Jimmy's Traveling All Stars, a comedy group that plays on campus.

After graduating from college, Shlesinger relocated to Los Angeles to pursue stand-up comedy. She was one the most popular members of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
